“When Ariel sings “Bet’cha on land they understand that they don’t reprimand their daughters ” from “Part of your world” I always think how she is wrong how parents reprimand their daughters on land too”
I always thought that was the brilliant part of it, though. It shows really subtly how she’s idealizing living on land
even if the rest of the movie is just glorifying how she abandons her whole life and everyone who loves her for a guy.
